UBPay has expanded its money transfer service to new countries

UBPay money transfers are now available in Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Customers can send money directly to their loved ones’ bank or card accounts in Armenia. UBPay's extensive payout locations network also makes it easy to pick up cash at the branches of partner banks. In Armenia, money transfers can be received in AMD, EUR, USD or RUB.

Remittances have traditionally been a crucial source of income for many Armenian families and play a significant role in supporting domestic consumption. According to a report by the Central Bank, the inflow of private cross-border remittances to Armenia from abroad through banks amounted to $3.6 billion during January-August 2024.
